Our Mission
To provide opportunities for the advanced manufacturing industry to connect with students, inspire their natural curiosity and fuel their passion for STEM by introducing them to STEM career opportunities available in advanced manufacturing.
The Arizona Advanced Manufacturing Coalition (AAMC) strengthens Arizona’s advanced manufacturing (AM) workforce pathways by engaging stakeholders, including but not limited to K-12, community college and university education institutions; civic and community organizations; workforce and economic development groups; and AM industry businesses, to promote awareness and benefits of AM careers.

Manufacturing Coalition
Who?
The Arizona Advanced Manufacturing Coalition (AAMC) is a collective of Arizona organizations dedicated to helping raise awareness about careers and businesses in advanced manufacturing. The coalition works to develop pathways to advanced manufacturing careers and connect the ecosystem of associates involved in this sector around the state. All the AAMC partners strive to enhance workforce development in Arizona.
Why?
Manufacturing is one of Arizona’s top five in-demand industries, yet the Arizona Manufacturing Extension Partnership estimates 80 percent of manufacturing employers struggle to fill current positions. SciTech Institute, in partnership with the Arizona Manufacturing Extension Partnership (AZ MEP) and the Arizona Commerce Authority, seeks to build a diverse, qualified Advanced Manufacturing workforce in Arizona. The Arizona Advanced Manufacturing Coalition will connect industry stakeholders and engage Advanced Manufacturing professionals in outreach that promotes manufacturing as a STEM career pathway opportunity.
